Due to the new pizza happiness regulations, I have now been required to write in this blog. So basically, Richards been arrogant, Zacs been rowing,GKs been busy fattening himself up, I've been finding clothing that doesnt give me a big ass, and Blairs been out with Beth alot. A nerd asked me to show the weather in Exeter for Thursday in the Joint Photographic Expets Group, so i attacked him with duck tape

Anyway, we're all very excited about the flowerpot session soon. So I'll listen to him and have posted the weather for Exeter. Anyway ill leave you to get on with your life.

Well, it's December and the cold weather has started to settle in. Tried to have a sesh yesterday- utter failure, due to the poor circulation of Zac and the horrible blisters on Jack's feet- Will still gave it a good go though, learning how to pop shuv it. Ended up calling it a day.

Maybe a skate sesh at flowerpot on wednesday is in order.

Well, I've been playing around with the banner, and I think it now looks pretty good. Skate updates: Been to Exeter, skated mini a lot, and used the wall ride bit a lot. Blair and Zac have been perfecting their boardslides, while I've been perfecting ollying onto the box (still not that great). Jack's been skating the Ipplepen mini a lot, with tail stalls (very nice), axel stalls and rock to fakies in the bag. I've been skating the mini as well, and tail stalls seem to finally be appearing, even though they're about a millisecond long =P.

Basically, I thought I'd give you guys an update. Sorry, that sounded sexist. I'll give our fans (cough) an update. We're still skating in Ipplepen, but we've gone further afield to places such as Flowerpot in Exeter, that has a great layout, with an excellent mini ramp and concrete drops etc. Everyone's pretty confident now, hundreds of new lines have been discovered to skate, adding to the enjoyment and enlightening our days. Blair is wowing the Coombesheadians with his mental rock to fakies, axel stalls and tricks that have never been done before (mainly because he mucks up and old one and somehow invents a new one XD). Jack Baker is shredding the mini as well, with Axel stalls, and VERY dodgy tail stalls his new favourites, and he's still landing the old favourite, the pop shuv it, but on angled slopes. Zach, as the best in the beginning, has had to cope with us catching up, but he's added new tricks to his trick arsenal on the quarter pipe, including a fakie pivot (turning the board 180 into a rock fakie) and was the first to master rock and rolls. I personally, still enjoy riding the ramps, pumping as much as possible to unlock new lines, and utilizing the parks layout to its full, and adding some tricks such as Rock fakies, fakie rocks, fakie pivots and very sketchy axel stalls into the mix. George seemed to go off skating for a while, but we're trying to coax him back in. We haven't seen Porchy and Hinks for a while, (I miss Tom's camera, it was the best we've had lol) but on the last visit Tom was still pulling off pop shuv its, and some very impressive and long manuals. Hinks is pulling off some high ollies as well, and generally getting to know the park. Well, that's basically the story. Hopefully we'll remember this corner of the interweb and keep you posted.

Teh Third Of March

Today was pretty darn good! we had an eventful day which involed Rich, Blair, and Geo dropping in! at first Blair put all the pads on and stood at the top of the quarter for about quarter of an hour asking me to carry on demonstating dropping in (about 50 times). Then he gave up (too scared) so acericardo came along an put the pads on an went straight into it. He failed the first time and bailed the second. He took a 5 minute break and came back and did it! i was proud. However, when rich did it Blair got jealous and was trying without pads :0 his back foot kept coming off becos he was rushing but soon he nailed it! i was proud. later we got Geo to try dropping in - he equiped himself with the pads and tried a few timesand did it when no-one was watching. but then when we watched him do it again and he bailed and landed on his ass. Thus he was put off and unconfiedent and had a go later and did it. i was proud. but i have to say that richard was a bit silly because he could drop in well, but only on my board and he was to scared to do it again for a while "im having a break" he'd say. what else? well me and jack dropped in on the big quarters :D. i was proud. oh yeah and it was funny when rich first dropped in because he said, and i quote, "that was so flipping easy! i cant beleive how smooth it bally is! O HOLY CRAPS!" any ways that was pretty much it.

Commitment

ok. tomorrow. We are going to, the now world renouwn, skatepark up the road and the weather is lookin like its want to skate. bakers scootin up at round 11.30 and zac may find his way up at some point, with geo hopefuklly tagging along.

i know, they need a bit of COMMITMENT!

anyway rich and me are goin up at bout .. i cant remeber.. but were gonna be there from the morning so as too get prime drop in periods. if rich can do i so will i. i wont be beaten.

i happen to notice the richard put his picture at the top. im sorry. it may be quite a disturbing sight. ill see to gettin it sorted, so you have to volentairily scroll down to see his person. i tihnk he just wants to be popular. hes an alright guy. improving all the time.

jackery backery seems to be improving fastest with an ever growing trick book, and geo with an evergrowing trick vocabulary. zac has been the best to start with and is probably one of the preffered members of the group as he dusnt boast which is good, or give unwanted advice that doest help *cough*.

im the average one of the group. not very good but still getting on with it. ummm.. i appear to be bored as, unlike richard, i dont find it fun/exciting posting on this blogger thing. i have a social life but my msn has broke. not sayin you dont richard. or msn is my social life... dont even say a word

We Mourn The Loss Of Jackery Bakery. On The Other Hand We Had Pasties!

Well, we all met up on a blustery Saturday morning, and the weather couldn't decide what to do, one min it was raining, the next it was not. Me, Blair, George and Terry (Blair's special guest) met up near the skatepark, and decided to go back to George's house to PARTAY. Well, shelter from the rain. We started a game of Timesplitters, and Geo rang the Dawlish connection: Tom "Independently" Porch and Will Hinkins, but they had decided not to come. Then Zach arrived, and played some PS2 too.

After playing that for a while, I believe we went outside because it had stopped raining, but then it started again, so Geo put on an insane skate dvd of The Death Squad- everyone in it was flipping mental.

Then, after a while the rain stopped, so we had a street skate session outside Geo's house. Zach did some nice ollies up the kerb, and the rest of us experimented- I personally practised doing a caveman, and Geo did a little rock to fakie off the edge of the pavement. Blair personally, tried to destroy his board, and Terry did some manuals.

Then, I decided it was time for lunchables, so we went on a quest to buy food from the Kwap. We pooled our money together, and we spent £10 overall. Four pasties were bought, but Geo had muffins because he's wierd.

Then, after that we went back to the Geo household, and stuffed our faces in front of The Six Nations England rugby match.

Next, I went home and got the mini ramp, andwe went towards the skatepark. We didn't manage to do much- it started raining again. Zach got out the towels, and every time they were wringed out, about a litre of liquid sloshed onto the floor. So, we went back to my close, to take my mini ramp back. Me and Zach got out the Go-Cart, and us and Terry rode it back to the Geo household- Zach went onto a grass bank and upturned the go cart- luckily he withstained only minor injuries, and a muddy face.

After that, we used Geo's computer to look at possible new decks and trucks for Blair, and after a while, Blair and Terry had to leave, so it was just me, Zach and George.

After that, we went on the PS2 again- I played George at SSX and even managed to beat him! Not bad for someone with only a pc!

Then, it was onto the grit of war. We loaded up COD 3, and we all told each other, as George would say, "That's not the way to do it". George wouldn't have been good in the Iraq war- he lost the game twice because of friendly fire!

Then, it was time to go. Geo was going to Zach's house for a sleep over, and his Dad gave me a lift back. We had a hard time trying to fit the go cart in the boot!

I was dropped off and I don't know why, but I tried to get my go cart through some trees in the garden. It would have been better if I'd used a proper entrance!

SUNDAY...

We were supposed to meet at 9:30, but the weather wasn't too good, so we met up at 2:00. It was much better weather, and we managed to do some rather cool stuff. We also listened to Electric Six.

yh as geo said it was good, we had a game of skate which was fun and then had a dos about cannonballing the chippage was abit annoyin but i smacked the deck back into shape wid a hammer wen i got home and its fine now. I herd a rumor that Zackery is reurning to the skate park, un fortunately i will not be here to witness this phenomenon as i will be away. But im tryna nail sum tricks in my garage, sum neerly nailed others a bit futher but its plenty of fun. wednesdays the day tho wen i can probs fit a proper practice sesh in which shud be good. Thats about all i have 2 say, hopefully another game of skate and some new mini comps coming up sat afta nxt 4 all to enjoy. happy days

Good session today with blair, rich, jack baker. Jack brown, will h and dan chase came for a bit which was good. A game of skate seemed to bring out the best as we all improved while playing. Another game next week, I think. Park was full of 'lil kids with bikes but they left quite early. The good guy we saw last week turned up with a mate and they were pretty cool and helped us. One of them is sponsored by Karma so that was cool. Jack b got a bit of major chippage to his deck but he seems to be coping. Blair was pretty good considerin his arm. I think the launch ramp had a good sesh too.

last weekend was very good with all the gang, maybe a few to many bikes but now im injured and will be out for the next sesh, which drew isnt going to so wont be very good, and bikes will be there. again. ummm been out of school this week, but yeah so yeah. just checkin in. suprised geo or rich didnt write boiut the weekend. will see to it.

away on ten tors training i hear them cry... but jackery bakery, despite missing the last hardcore skating sesh jackery bakery was skating well into the night today. He managed to pull off a moving shuv it, then he went home and had some pasta to celebrate the fun. Also he didnt miss any wheelbarrow action, then again I guess there waiting for the more experienced members at this sort of thing, but he will be there next time and the wheelbarrow shall live.

Well this is me, George. I'm at Rich's after a satuday morning sesh with Blair too. Jack B at 10 tors training. Took a few good videos for my art project. Blair had a run of bad bails while messing about on Rich's pads, now he has a graze on his arse which he had no prblem in displaying to everyone (including the young football team practicing, they got more than they bargained for!) We left to grab a bite after fun time on the baby swing! A group of skaters arrived as we left. Hopefully they have gone. So that's the story of the Oulaws for today...

Well, arranged to meet up with Geo and Blair at the skatepark at 4:45, Blair was slightly late, BUT NEVERMIND! Finally, my trucks have been sorted out, they're nice and tight now. George is a dab hand with a spanner. My olllies are much higher, and the board seems to have regained its pop and stability. Mainly today I did turns on the ramp, but George and Blair tried something more impressive- they both attempted rock to fakies on the quarter pipe next to the ramps- after a few attempts Blair did it, but Geo nearly did it as well. Anyway, hopefully Jackery can rejoin our ranks next Sunday (Pah, what a pathetic excuse, "I have ten tors training on Saturday. Like that's important :)", and show off his new voltage board, and bring his miniramp......

We are not just going to show our skrating skill but we are going to tell you the happenings of ipplepen and how four rubbish skaters gain in talent and balance and become good, with photos of course. That is this blog in a nutshell and that is why you shall read it, or you shall not. if you do not then it is your loss and the legend of ipplepen will live on with you none the wiser, so you shall READ or you will never be welcome in ipplepen and be shunned to the side, all alone in a dark corner with only afew scraps of gone off beef jerkey to live off.
